Frequently asked questions

Is this body wash really sulfate-free?

Yes. It cleanses with decyl glucoside, a gentle plant-derived surfactant made from coconut and corn, so there are no SLS or SLES sulfates in the formula.

Will a sulfate-free body wash still lather?

It does. Sulfates create big, quick foam, but milder plant-based surfactants like decyl glucoside still produce a soft, cushioned lather that rinses clean without stripping your skin.

Is it vegan?

The formula is made with plant-derived and naturally derived ingredients and no animal-derived inputs.

What is Vivomer packaging?

Vivomer is a compostable biopolymer made by microbes, not from petroleum. It is designed to break down in a home compost and leaves no persistent microplastics — which is why the bottle is embossed “this bottle is not plastic.”

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Its pH-balanced, sulfate-free, fragrance-from-botanicals formula is designed to be gentle, though if you have highly reactive skin we always suggest checking the full ingredient list first.
